In 1973, Jean-Pierre Levy who was the general manager of the powerful French distribution chain (Inno, Galeries Lafayette, Monoprix), the French pioneer of super and hyper markets, decided to enter the fruit juices business. After working for Pardess Citrus Products (Israel), the leading citrus factory in the Mediterranean area in the 70’s and 80’s, he became "The Man of Del Monte" for France from 1976 through 1998. We have restarted our cooperation with Del Monte from 2005 onwards. Del Monte was for us the best fruit juice University and the best springboard of our professional life. In the meantime, we launched CITROVITA in France and in Spain, and have developed the sales of BASCITRUS in France and in Europe, and today we are considered as a key player in the fruit juice business in Europe.
For internal reasons, Del Monte management has decided to terminate our brokerage agreement from the second half of 2016. Although we do not understand this decision, we are happy and proud to inform you that we are now DOLE agents.
As you know DOLE is the biggest producer of pineapple products in the world.

Tailor-made products
According to the needs of our customers, we match them with the factories we work with – in order to offer them tailor-made products, such as various blends of pineapple juice concentrates, various blends of orange juices concentrates, multi-fruit bases…
The aim is not only to focus in appearance, in taste and flavour but also in most cases to decrease the cost price when some origins have higher prices due to special conjuncture.

The Levy Group International is considered as one of the prime suppliers of pineapple NFC and concentrates since we are working with the main sources : Costa Rica, Indonesia, Kenya, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand…
Levy Group International generally can meet most demands even at times of acute shortage (as we have experienced in 2015) owing to diverse suppliers’ bases in Pineapple Juices.

We are the first company to have launched in Europe Coconut Water, a tremendous successful product in the USA which is going to “invade” Europe… We are always looking for new products, because no innovation means stagnation.

A supplier who produces only NFC and buys concentrates, will never be our supplier.
A supplier who does not invest enough in R&D is not our supplier.
